For over 20 years, our award-winning festival has welcomed thousands of visitors from all over North America to the beautiful lakeside town of Kincardine to join us in celebrating all things Scottish.
Our festival aims to preserve, enhance, and celebrate Kincardine’s Scottish roots. Enjoy three days and nights of lively music, exciting competitions, cultural workshops, and friendly small town hospitality. Cheer on your favourite, Highland athletes and dancers, trace out your ancestry, march with the historic Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band down Queen Street, and enjoy the sights and sounds of over 30 Scottish pipe bands from across Canada and the United States.
Located in Victoria Park and surrounding area, our festival is in the heart of Kincardine and we encourage you to experience the beauty and hospitality our town has to offer during your visit.
We pride ourselves in honouring the traditions and contributions of Scottish culture within the Canadian multicultural mosaic. We look forward to seeing you at our next Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games!

We would like to extend our sincere condolences from the Kincardine Scottish Festival to Marie’s family and friends.
We are truly saddened to hear of her passing but grateful for the time that Marie spent on our Board as Sponsorship Director. Her drive, talent, and expertise combined with her passion to serve this community was clear and we were fortunate to have her on our team.
Marie will be deeply missed.
Remembering Gord Rogers
We are deeply saddened by the loss of our Past President and board member Gord Rogers.
Gord was one of the original founders of the Kincardine Scottish Festival.
He was always an active and enthusiastic participant in all aspects of the Kincardine Scottish Festival.
His words of wisdom , expertise and guidance in all things “Scottish” has attributed to the success of our “Iconic” festival.
Let us reflect on the words of Robert Burns, as a tribute to Gordon.
“Epitaph on my own friend”
An honest man here lies at rest
As e’er God with His image blest:
The friend of man, the friend of truth;
The friend of age, and guide of youth:
Few hearts like his, with virtue warm’d,
Few heads with knowledge so inform’d:
If there’s another world, he lives in bliss;
If there is none, he made the best of this.
Thank you Gordon you will be sorely missed by all of us.
To Gord’s loved ones family and friends.
May fond memories of Gord bring all his loved ones family and friends
comfort during this difficult time in their lives.
Our hearts and prayers go out to you all.
On behalf of the 2020 festival board and past members.
